In the ever-evolving landscape of hip-hop, where trends come and go, and artists rise and fall, one name has remained a constant force – Tech N9ne. Tech N9ne has not only carved a permanent niche for himself but has also defied the odds to become an icon of independent rap. With his intricate lyrical style, unique flow, and a relentless work ethic, Tech N9ne has cemented his legacy as a true rap phenomenon.

Tech N9ne’s journey into the world of music began in his childhood, influenced by his mother’s love for gospel music and his fascination with horror movies. These early influences would eventually shape his distinctive style, characterized by complex rhymes, rapid-fire delivery, and dark themes. However, it wasn’t until the early ’90s that he embarked on his rap career, initially forming a group called Black Mafia.

The turning point in Tech N9ne’s career came when he co-founded Strange Music, Inc., an independent record label, in 1999 with business partner Travis O’Guin. This move was pivotal, allowing him to maintain complete creative control over his music, a rarity in the rap industry at the time. His debut album, “The Calm Before the Storm,” released in 1999, marked the beginning of his solo career and introduced fans to his dynamic style.

Tech N9ne‘s discography is extensive, with over two dozen studio albums, numerous collaborations, and countless live performances under his belt. His 2001 album, “Anghellic,” showcased his lyrical prowess and storytelling abilities, earning him a dedicated fan base. The subsequent releases, including “Absolute Power” (2002), “Everready” (2006), and “K.O.D.” (2009), and 2021’s “ASIN9NE” further solidified his status as a rap heavyweight.

Following the massive success of his 2021 blockbuster “ASIN9NE,” which garnered nearly half-a-billion streams and boasted the chart-topping hit “Face Off” featuring Joey Cool, King Iso, and Dwayne Johnson, Tech N9ne is back with a vengeance.

“BLISS” is not just another album; it’s a deep dive into the inner workings of Tech N9ne’s mind, making it possibly his most personal and introspective work to date. The journey begins with the album opener, “Badge Of Honor,” where Tech N9ne takes us back to his formative years, spinning a captivating and unpredictable narrative that could easily grace the silver screen. Longtime fans of Tech and Strange Music are in for a major treat as they delve into this album.

As “BLISS” unfolds, listeners are treated to a multifaceted experience that pulls them deeper into the enigmatic world of Strangeland than ever before. The journey culminates with the mesmerizing climax of “2 Happy,” featuring NNUTTHOWZE – Zkeircrow & Phlague The Grimstress, and the contemplative finale, “Got What I Wanted,” featuring Navé Monjo. These tracks showcase the depth and diversity of Tech N9ne’s artistry.

“BLISS” not only marks the arrival of a new era for Tech N9ne but also for Strange Music. He has transcended previous heights and reached a stratosphere where anything is possible, a feat he has proven time and time again throughout his illustrious career. With this album, Tech N9ne reaffirms his status as a trailblazer in the rap industry, pushing boundaries and challenging conventions.

Tech N9ne has teamed up with the platinum-certified rock stars of the 21st century, Hollywood Undead, for an exciting co-headlining tour titled the “Hollywood & N9ne Tour” set to traverse North America this  fall. This tour marks their first extensive journey together, building upon their collaboration that began with the beloved fan favorite “IDOL” in 2020.  The “Hollywood & N9ne Tour” will kick off on October 16 in Chesterfield, Mo at The Factory and will make stops in major cities across the country.

Tech N9ne recently appeared on the brother podcast of Vulgar Display of Podcast, Midwest Mixtape Podcast presented by The Barn, a testament to his enduring influence and relevance in the rap industry.
