Rising from the dense fog and smog of Milan, Italy, Gravery has emerged as a powerful force in the downtempo deathcore scene. Formed in December 2022, Gravery quickly set a new standard for violent and straightforward aggressiveness. Their raw, unfiltered sound and unapologetic themes captivate fans.

Gravery wasted no time making their mark on the metal scene. Immediately after forming, they began crafting no-compromise tracks that tackle uncomfortable topics, particularly the destructive potential of the human mind. Their sound is rough, direct, and disturbing, perfectly complementing the themes they explore. This intense approach is encapsulated in their debut EP title, “Everything that is Born Must Die.”

A Sound That Hits Hard

The six tracks on “Everything that is Born Must Die” hit listeners straight in the stomach. Aggressive low tones and merciless breakdowns leave no room for interpretation. Recorded in Autumn 2023 at MK2 Recordings Studio by Davide Billia (Antropofagus, Putridity, Hour of Penance), the EP showcases the fury of vocals unleashed at Rudimental Studios by Davide Panigada (Jorelia, Omens Before Hysteria). Steph “Orkid” Santi (Lacuna Coil, Lvcifyer, Total Recall) handled the mixing at SPVN Studios. Finally, Chris Whited (Bodysnatcher, Traitors) added the finishing touch at 1776 Recordings Studio. The result is a malevolent masterpiece infused with pure adrenaline and fear.

Explosive Singles and a Major Signing

Gravery’s journey gained momentum with two explosive single videos. They captured the attention of the metal community. Their hard work and dedication paid off when they signed with UPSTATE RECORDS USA, a label known for representing heavy hitters like Fury of Five, Subzero, Freya, Brick by Brick, These Streets, and Gloves Off. The debut EP, “Everything that is Born Must Die,” will be released worldwide in the fall of 2024.

Gravery will hit the road this summer for the “Ripper’s Carnage” UK Summer Run. Catch their brutal live performance at the following venues:

A Tour to Remember

To promote their debut EP, Gravery embarked on an extensive UK/EU tour starting in April 2024. With over 40 shows across 12 countries, the band is leaving a lasting impression on the European metal scene. Their relentless touring schedule will continue in 2025, with plans to include the USA and Canada. This will further solidify their presence in the global metal community.
